DuetFlix (“the app”) is developed by UmbraForge (“we”). This policy explains what data
the app handles and why. We designed DuetFlix to collect as little as possible.
Data we handle
Anonymous identifier. To enable Duo mode, the app signs you in
anonymously through Firebase Authentication. This creates a random identifier that is not
linked to your name, email, or Apple ID. We never ask you to create an account.
Display name. In Duo mode you type a name so the other player can
recognize you. This name is stored in the room’s data only while the game session is active
and is visible only to the person you invited with the room code.
Game data. While a Duo room is active, the films you like and the
resulting matches are stored in Firebase Firestore so both phones stay in sync in real time.
This data is tied to the room, not to your identity.
Watchlist. Films you save in Solo mode are stored only on your
device (SwiftData) and are never uploaded.
What we do NOT do
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or precise location.
We do not show ads and do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
Third-party services
Firebase (Google) provides anonymous authentication and the Firestore
database that powers real-time matching. See Google’s privacy policy at
policies.google.com/privacy.
The Movie Database (TMDB) is the source of all film information (titles,
posters, descriptions). The app requests film data and search terms from TMDB; no personal
data is sent to TMDB.
Data retention and deletion
Room and match data exist only while a Duo room is active and are removed when the room is
closed or the host ends the game. Your on-device watchlist is deleted when you delete the app.

Children
DuetFlix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.

Yapmadıklarımız
Adını, e-postanı, telefon numaranı veya kesin konumunu toplamıyoruz.
Reklam göstermiyoruz ve seni başka uygulama/sitelerde takip etmiyoruz.
